Publication: Application-Oriented Bulk Cryopreservation of Human iPSCs in Cryo Bags Followed by Direct Inoculation in Scalable Suspension Bioreactors for Expansion and Neural Differentiation

In this study the CERO 3D Incubator and Bioreactor was used for cultivation of different human iPSC lines and their neural differentiation. The article presents a study on bulk cryopreservation of the human iPSC lines UKKi011-A and BIONi010-C-41, which are stem cells with promising applications in regenerative medicine. The article discusses the method used for bulk cryopreservation, the results obtained after thawing and seeding the frozen cells in scalable suspension-based bioreactors for expansion and neural differentiation, and the conclusion that this technology could help avoid pre-cultivation and enable time- and cost-efficient therapeutic approaches with bulk cell numbers.
